The first core of Alpaslan Town Municipality Museum, Taşova district, Amasya was formed from archaeological and ethnographical arts collected from the region in 1964.
In 1991 a bath from Ottoman Empire Period was arranged as a museum and in 1994 started to serve as Alpaslan Town Municipality Museum.
There are ceramics, bronze and golden works of art reflecting information about Ancient Bronze, Hittite, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuki and Ottoman Period .
Furthermore various fossils are exhibited. In regional village room exhibition, there are samples reflecting wooden works of Seljuklu and Ottoman Empires Periods.
