The abandoned church in city center at Kuruköprü which was built in 1845 was arranged as a museum after 1924. Following the transfer of the material to the new museum building in 1972, the church was restored and has been used as an Ethnography Museum since 1983.
Stone Works
Inscriptions and tomb stones in "kufi", "sülüs" and "nezih" calligaphy are exhibited in the garden In the southern and northern sections, female and male tomb stones in the Ottoman tradition from 17th century on are displayed including plain, coin headed, mecidiye type stones as well as stones with with crowns shaped as fez, turban or in the baroque style. Tomb stones of some prominent persons such as Governar of Adana Süleyman Paþazade Ahmet Pasha, The Local Administrator of Karaisali, Hasan Fevzi Bey, The Military Governor of Adana Miratizade Ýbrahim Bey, the Treasures of Adana Mustafa Bey of Sophia, Chief Forest Inspector Akif Efendi can be found among the collection. In the western section, inscriptions from the Turkish-Islamic works are exhibited. The most prominent examples among them are the restoration inscriptions of Misis Inn, Adana Governor's Bureau, Bahripaþa Fountain, Taþköprü (the Stone Bridge), Missis Bridge and the Ottoman State Seal.

Weaving (Istar) Section
Hand looms, and weaving instruments and tools (loom, shuttle, kirkit, bowspinning wheel, ýlkýdýr, kirmen, çýkrýk) and kilim samples on the wall.
Nomad (Yörük) Tent
Black horse hair tent. Inside, trousseau bags, felts and kilims on the floor, wall pillows, lamp, partridge cage, hýzman, gun and gun powder case. In front of the tent leather foot-wear (çarýk), wooden water cup, stone mortar, churn, and spoon case. On the left side of the tent nomad girl with butter churn, hand grinder and on the wall a kilim with ram horn motive.
Oriental Room
In the center a brazier and fully costumed nomad girl mannequin. On the wall there is a deer skin and a copper tray with inscriptions.

Panels
Samples of hand woven material from the nomadic tribes living in the Taurus mountains including kilims of various styles such as cicim, zili, sumak, ilikli and plain weaves, rug, saddle bag, prayer rugs and pillows. There are also felt prayer rugs and trousseau bags.
